Danish Mid-Century Modern Teak Ladderback Dining Chairs
Danish Mid-Century Modern teak ladderback dining chairs manufactured by Korup Stolefabrik. These solid teak dining chairs are attributed to Kai Kristiansen in the early 1960's. The beautiful teak frame curves upward to cradle the back comfortably. Yet the openness of the ladder rungs gives a continuity to any space. The original bright yellow Maharam upholstery is in excellent condition, as it had been covered for many years. Truly spectacular and a great example of the brilliance of the craftsmanship of the Mid-Century period. Stunning colour and grain pattern on the wood. We purchased these, the matching dining table and sideboard from the original and only owners.
