Danish Modern Teak Sideboard By Arne Vodder With Tambour Doors
This fantastic Danish Modern teak sideboard by Arne Vodder with tambour doors is a Mid-Century Modern design classic. Manufactured by Sibast Mobler in the 1960's. It is absolutely full of the stunning craftsmanship which we have all come to expect from this designer and manufacturer. From the incredible colour and grain pattern, to the solid teak legs and trim. Then there is the easy slide tambour doors. These doors are made from individual pieces of solid teak. The doors hide away by wrapping around in the the sides and back of the cabinet. Allowing full access to the interior! Purchased in the late 60's and a single owner for the last 50 years. This would be ideal to float between rooms in a loft of open concept home as the back is finished! So many uses! This piece is perfect for a media cabinet as it is low with typical Mid Century openness. Stunning teak hue and exceptional grain pattern that only 50 years will bring. The fully finished interior offers a generous amount of storage space and is broken up into 3 sections. The first has a large removable/ adjustable interior shelf. The second has 2 solid teak finger joined drawers and an adjustable shelf while the third section has 2 smaller adjustable and removable shelves. All this customization of storage space makes this piece perfect for storing your media components or your fine dinnerware. This Danish Modern teak sideboard sits atop 4 large, tapered, teak legs giving it the very sought after “floating” look that is so sought after by interior designers.
