Early Danish Modern Teak 3 Door Sideboard
An absolutely spectacular early Danish Modern Teak 3 door sideboard . Manufactured in Denmark in the late 1950's and attributed to Arne Vodder. This is a very rare piece with exceptional craftsmanship and build quality throughout. The first thing you will notice is the craftsmanship throughout. The attention to detail continues through to the 3 doors, solid teak legs and trim. The old growth teak grain pattern and colour is exceptional throughout. This is an heirloom quality showpiece. The 3 easy sliding doors cover 3 separate, ample sized, storage areas and 2 drawers. The interior is fully finished. Behind one door there are 2 finger joined, felt lined, drawers and an adjustable shelf. The middle door covers a storage area with a single adjustable/ removable shelf. The last door slides open to reveal a single adjustable/ removable shelf. Each of the doors has an inset oval handle characteristic of Vodder's early work. A wood backer board that was nailed finishes the item. It will easily handle all your storage requirements with ease and still look splendid! A truly exceptional addition for any dining room or put it into your living area to house your Flat Screen T.V. and media centre. This teak sideboard sits atop four 9" high, solid teak round tapered legs giving it the very sought after “floating” look that is so sought after by interior designers.
