A beautiful French Mid-Century Modern Chrome table lamp by Jean-Michel Wilmotte. Architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte was born in 1948 and still runs his own world famous architecture firm Wilmotte and Associates.
This lamp was created specifically for the renovation of the French Embassy in Washington. Featuring a stunning chrome body and shell on a sturdy base and shell. It uses a readily available but high quality LED light bulb with a very high quality light and with bright spectrum similar to natural light. The shell top rotates 360 degrees allowing you to easily redirect the light suitably. This would be a stunning item in an office or living room. The surface has an exquisite reflective quality that you only find in beautifully designed items. Dating from 1983. A truly gorgeous addition to any room in your home.
