Large Danish Modern Extending Dining Table By Niels Moller In Brazilian Rosewood
An exceptionally rare large Danish Modern extending dining table by Niels Moller in exotic Brazilian rosewood. Designed by Niels Moller for J.L Møllers Møbelfabrik. This Mid-Century Modern dining table will stun you with the incredible depth of colour and vibrant grain pattern throughout. Featuring only the finest Brazilian rosewood throughout this generously proportioned dining table. The skirting and legs are solid Brazilian rosewood. The tapered rosewood legs can be removed for moving. The elegance continues throughout the top where the leaves and top have a book match veneer pattern. One of Moller's most profound designs. This is simply a heirloom level table and one of the finest dining tables we have had the pleasure of having in store. Due to the scarcity and in an effort to preserve the remaining trees, Brazilian rosewood can longer be legally harvested. Making existing stock even more sought after and rare. This Mid-Century Modern dining table seats 8 and is generous without the leaves extended. The two large draw leaves conveniently store under the table top and easily pull out to extend this table to a 10 or 12 seater. You can extend a single leaf or both leaves. The perfect size dining table for those with a large family or those who have frequent dinner parties. The table is streamlined with beautiful Scandinavian Modern design elements. It was purchased in the early 60's and has had a single owner for it's entire life.
