Mid-Century Danish Rosewood Bookshelf by Poul Hundevad Co

A fantastic Danish rosewood bookshelf designed by Carlo Jensen for Poul Hundevad Co. Made in Denmark during the 1960's. All 8 interior shelves are adjustable and removable, allowing you to set up the configuration that suits you best. Brazilian Rosewood is highly prized for its incredible colour and grain pattern. This bookcase has beautifully grained thick Brazilian rosewood veneer over solid wood throughout.  On all the outer sides, top, the inner panels and both sides of the shelves. Even the back is a wood panel. The beautifully sculpted shelves have a recessed angular edge on front. This shelving unit sits on 4 solid rosewood, Wegner style, legs for a greater sense of openness. Wide, narrow and open with a ton of storage. Perfect for today's homes. Stamped with the Hundevad & Co symbol on the back.
