A 3-seater Mid-Century teak sofa designed by Frederik Kayser for Vatne Lenestolfabrikk and stamped. Manufactured in Norway in the early 60's, with aspects of quality and design that are characteristic of the period. An organically shaped, solid teak and beech frame provides both beauty, stability and comfort. The original rubber springs provide openness and support on the back. The connectors and screws are all brass. adding to the sophistication of this item. Designed to be placed in the centre of a room as it looks amazing from all angles. The arms curve and angle perfectly to the body. Brilliantly designed to be easily taken apart for moving or storage. The original charcoal Maharam fabric and foam on the seat and back cushions was in great shape. So it has been professionally cleaned.
