Model 254 Mid-Century Rosewood Extending Dining Table By Niels Moller
An exceptionally rare and beautiful Model 254 Mid-Century Brazilian rosewood extending dining table by Niels Moller for J.L Møllers Møbelfabrik. This Danish Modern dining table will stun you with the incredible depth of colour and vibrant grain pattern throughout. Featuring the finest Brazilian rosewood throughout this generously proportioned dining table. The skirting and legs are solid Brazilian rosewood. The leaves and top have a book match veneer pattern. One of Moller's most profound designs. This is simply a heirloom level table and one of the finest dining tables we have had the pleasure of having in store. Due to the scarcity and in an effort to preserve the remaining trees, Brazilian rosewood cannot be harvested. The two large draw leaves conveniently store under the table top and easily pull out to extend this table to a 10 or 12 seater. You can extend 1 or both leaves. The perfect size dining table for those with a large family or those who have frequent dinner parties. The table is streamlined with beautiful Scandinavian Modern design elements. It was purchased in the early 60's and has had one owner. Seats 8 without the leaf and extends out to 12 with both Dutch leaves extended.
