Ole Wanscher Mid-Century teak armchair for France and Sons
Ole Wanscher Mid-Century teak armchair for France and Sons. Like all of Wanscher's work the Model FD109 features incredible joinery and stunning grain pattern on the solid teak frame. The gorgeous wood tone gives these lounge chairs an added sense of sophistication. The curved and flared arms show off the craftsmanship of the makers. Solid teak frame with new webbing on the seats. New soy based foam and a grey Maharam fabric has been done on one chair for the seat and back cushions. The open back has a wonderful horizontal, flat spindle detail. The chair can easily be collapsed down for moving or storage. Stamped with the France & Sons metal stamp. This is a spectacular chair that will last for many, many years beyond the 60 that it has already been around. Strong, sturdy, yet incredibly comfortable.
